04 March 2021

With the Government unveiling its planned roadmap out of lockdown, we are preparing to welcome back a reduced number of fans to safely enjoy an exciting day at the races at our fixtures taking place from Monday 17th May 2021 (at the earliest) and tickets will go on sale on Monday 8 March!

Since June 2020, horse racing fixtures across the UK have been staged behind closed doors, with participants placed under tight restrictions, including medical screening and social distancing.

As outdoor events and elite sporting stadiums are currently able to re-open to fans from Monday 17th May 2021, Newcastle Racecourse is set to be able to admit a select number of racegoers to its upcoming fixtures taking place between 17th May until 20th June 2020 in accordance with the latest government advice. Tickets for remaining 2021 fixtures will go on sale in the coming weeks.

Tickets will need to be booked early as we’ll have limited capacities. To help you plan the days you want to attend for a fun day at the races this summer, download the fixture list or add straight to your calendar!

*Our events calendar is Powered by ECAL. Simply select the racecourse’s fixtures you want to be added to your calendar, complete the relevant fields and you’ll have our fixtures added straight to your calendar and get all the latest updates!

General Admission Tickets

A limited number of tickets will be released on Monday 8 March 2021 for the general public to be able to return to watch live horse racing at Newcastle Racecourse. With a reduced number of tickets available to buy, customers are advised to book early to secure their ticket. As part of the new guidelines for sporting venues permitted to welcome back fans in stage 3 of the roadmap, everyone who books a ticket must do so in advance as no tickets will be available on the gate.

Book With Confidence

Customers can ‘Book With Confidence’, safe in the knowledge that, if your plans change, the event is cancelled or you can no longer attend due to Coronavirus, you can transfer your booking or get a full refund.

Annual Members

Newcastle Annual Members will be required to register for their ticket in advance to monitor capacity and to comply with NHS Track & Trace. All Annual Members will receive an email with details of how to register their attendance shortly.

Members at other Arena Racing Company tracks will also be able to register for a limited number of available tickets to attend and will receive an email with details.

If you are an Annual Member and still need to provide your email address to ensure you receive the latest information, please email info@newcastle-racecourse.co.uk

Visiting Safely

Things might be a little different as we welcome the return of fans in a Covid-secure way but we are confident that you’ll be able to fully enjoy your day at the races and watching all the exciting live horse racing.

With social distancing and various safety measures still in place from the 17th May, we’ve put in place a range of new procedures and guidance to welcome back spectators in a Covid-secure way and keep communities safe. All spectators are being asked to comply with a brand-new Code Of Conduct, which outlines a range of new safety protocols.
